SUMMER INTENSIVE in ohio
Offering two intensives taking place at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio from
July 10th through July 21st, 2017 with options for dancers ages 8 to 25.
ARTÉMOTION PRE-PROFESSIONAL SUMMER INTENSIVE | AGES 12 TO 25 | Audition Required | July 10th through July 21st, 2017
Ballet Technique, Pointe, Classical Variations, Men’s Class, Partnering, Contemporary, Choreography, Corps to the Core*, Character, Jazz, Hip Hop and Acting Technique. Seminar topics include Hair and Make-Up for Stage, Etiquette for the Studio/Theatre, Dance History, Nutrition, Injury Prevention and more! Students will also partake in Art with Alli and Exit Slips where they will be asked to reflect on their work at artÉmotion and research topics on dance. Students will have the opportunity to dance in a performance the last day of the program.
Dancers will be considered for this Cleveland program at each of the Ballet West Academy 2017 Summer Intensive Audition tour locations. Video Auditions will also be accepted.

ARTÉMOTION INTERMEDIATE SUMMER INTENSIVE IN OHIO (HALF DAY PROGRAM) | AGES 8 to 11 – JULY | Audition Required | July 10th through July 21st, 2017
Designed for dancers age 8-11 this intermediate level intensive held in Cleveland, OH at Playhouse Square introduces dancers to the intensity of multiple dance classes per day. Classes will include Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe, Men’s Class, Contemporary, Jazz, Character, Acting and seminars including Etiquette for the Studio/Stage, Dance History, Art with Alli and Exit Slips.
Auditions for the Intermediate Intensive are being held at the Cleveland, Ohio location only. Dancers are welcome to submit a video audition to be considered to attend this program.
*Please note, your student will only be permitted to participate in the performance if they commit to the entire program. No exceptions.
