The Ballet West Academy’s Ballet Centre Young Dancer Summer Intensive in Salt Lake City, Utah is a two-week program and will be held at the Trolley Corners campus.

The Young Dancer Summer Intensive is specifically designed for dancers between the ages of 9 and 12. The program provides rigorous training while balancing the developmental needs of younger students. Dancers participate in daily ballet technique classes, as well as a variety of supplemental classes for girls and boys; including pre-pointe/pointe, boys technique, other dance styles, and seminar classes relating to topics such as nutrition and growth mindset. Classes will be taught by Ballet West Academy Faculty, Ballet West Dancers and guest artists. The program culminates with a presentation in the studios.

Summer Intensive Pricing

2025 Tuition

$850

  • June 23 - July 3, 2025

  • To secure enrollment, a deposit of $500.00 must be made within two weeks of acceptance. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.

  • Housing and Food Plans are not provided for our Ballet Centre or Trolley Corners Young Dance Intensives.

  • Please note the number of accepted applicants surpasses the number of places available for programs and housing. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Full tuition payments are due by May 1, 2025 .  If we do not receive a drop request, your card on file will be charged and late fees will be processed after Monday, May 1, 2025.

  • All students registered to attend Ballet West Academy’s Salt Lake City Summer Intensive are required to complete a Physician’s Statement of Good Health and all Liability Waivers. Forms will be emailed with acceptance letters.

  • COVID-19 protocol will align with state and county mandates.
